Forestburgh summer camp
My summer camp experience
Summer camp was one of the best times I had as a Boy Scout. I made many memories playing volleyball and gaga ball. I remember spending hours playing them each day. The other troops on site were very friendly. They were easy to talk to and have fun with. The staff was very small but this made it so that you would be able to connect with almost every staff member. I’m hoping next summer will be just as memorable. Vincent Wiseman
This year's summer camp was the best one so far. I've enjoyed working on my merit Badges and the experience at Forestburg even though it's my first year with 24. I hope next summer camp could be the same. Jonathan Reyes
As a first summer camp experience, Forestburgh Scout Reserve was an amazing camp. Though the weather wasn't always the best, I had a great time there. Though I had to take the swimming merit badge test three times, in the end I came out triumphant. Phineas Kuo
This summer camp was really fun because the counselors were nice. They had some fun activities like the monkey bridge and boating. Also it is a nice place to go camping to get away from home. The staff made everything more fun by not being too strict and making conversations with us. Dennis Riccardi
I appreciated the opportunity I had to complete my merit badges and make a stronger connection with my fellow scouts during my stay in Forestburg. The moment I truly enjoyed the most was when Yash, Griffin, Daoud, Chris and myself played Cards Against Humanity in Sal’s tent; we were all laughing hysterically through the night.
