Camp, Winnebago, 2024 On March 8-10th we went to camp Winnebago for our march camping trip. We did many things during this trip. The big thing that happened on this trip was that it was the new boys' first camping as part of the troop. We learned many skills in preparation for Camp-o-ree such as, orienteering, firebuilding, first aid, knots & lashings. While we were doing these things, we broke up into small patrols made of 3 people. The older boys guided the new boys & showed them how to do certain activities. We also widened the variety for our meals. Unlike the normal pancakes for breakfast & grilled cheese for lunch we had bacon egg & cheese, burgers, shepherds pie, & baked ziti. The last thing that happened was we had cake for dessert. This is because on the 9th it was Declan's birthday & he brought cake for his birthday.
